Dana Beech

Dana is a Clinical Licensed Master of Social Work and has been working with children, teens, and families in a variety of disciplines for over 20 years. Dana currently works with teens and adults, specializing in the areas of trauma, grief and loss, depression, anxiety, and PTSD. In addition, she is IFS (Internal Family Systems Theory) informed and is certified in EMDR Therapy.

Chris is a Clinical Licensed Master of Social Work and has been serving children, adults, and families as a counselor for over 20 years. Chris specializes in the impacts of trauma, grief, loss, depression, anxiety, behavioral problems, autism, mild cognitive impairments, and ADHD. Chris was also a school social worker for over 15 years, working in special education.
Chris earned his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Michigan and a Master of Social Work from Grand Valley State University. Chris enjoys working with children and adults from diverse cultural backgrounds within a strengths-based and systemic approach to counseling.
Chris incorporates a variety of theoretical approaches including Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Mindfulness.
Candy Straubel-Sower

Candy is a Clinical Licensed Master Social Worker and a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor, operating in the mental health field for over 20 years.
Specializing in trauma recovery and substance abuse, she works extensively with a diverse population of children, adolescents, adults, foster care/adoption, and families.
In addition, she facilitates both group and individual therapy for all types of addictions. Candy also provides training to schools and agencies on the basics of trauma and the effects it has on the developing brain.
Candy is IFS (Internal Family Systems Theory) informed.
Megan is a Clinical Licensed Master Social Worker. She has a background in Infant Mental Health and foster care. She believes that at the base of most mental health disorders or negative behaviors is a layer of trauma and/or attachment disruptions. She also believes that trauma and attachment are areas that can be worked on as early as in utero and as late as the end of life. She is a strengths-based professional who knows her clients can meet their goals.

Alexander Thompson

Alexander is a graduate of Grand Valley State University and an alum of Central Michigan University. He is fully licensed in the State of Michigan to provide mental health services and certified through the Michigan Certification Board of Addiction Professionals to provide drug and alcohol assessments for courts and driver's license reinstatement.
He has a wealth of experience in treating adults with substance use disorders, trauma, depression, anxiety, and personality disorders. He is also trained in using Brain Spotting Techniques. Alex is down-to-earth and easy to get along with. He is a family man and able to see and work with people at every stage through this lens.
Samantha Hershberger
LMSW - Licensed Masters of Social Work
Sam is a Licensed Master Social Worker, obtaining her degree from Capella University. She also has a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. Sam enjoys working with young adults and older individuals. She primarily works with trauma related disorders, anxiety, substance abuse and personality disorders. Sam is listed as a civilian provided through Star Behavioral Health Providers and is trained to work with Military Service Members. Sam is also trained in Cognitive Processing Therapy and believes in using a strength-based and person-centered approach with her clients.
Samantha Goodwin

Samantha earned her Master's in Social Work from the University of Kentucky and her Bachelor's in Social Work with a Minor in Youth Studies from Central Michigan University. She has spent her years of practice working with various populations and settings including; crisis response, early childhood, teens, adolescents, adults, and in special education.
Samantha continues to work with school-aged children, teens, adults, and families. With a focus on depression, anxiety, and life transitions.
Lexi is a Limited Licensed Master of Social Work, LLMSW, and is entering her second year of compassionate and relational counseling. She primarily works with preteens, teens, and adults. Lexi specializes in complex trauma, perfectionism, people-pleasing tendencies, and those who identify as high-performing and find that typical talk therapy doesn't help. She takes a somatic approach to treatment through art, movement, and mindfulness. She practices therapy through the Polyvagal theory lens and is informed on Internal Family Systems.
